Important policies
Age and identification
This event is intended for adults age 21 and older. A valid government-issued photo ID may be required by the venue for alcoholic beverage service. Participants who do not consume alcohol are welcome; contact NY Mahjong with questions about available alternatives.
Cancellations and refunds
A participant who cancels at least three calendar days before the event may receive a full refund. After that deadline, the registration fee is refundable only if NY Mahjong fills the seat from the waitlist. Payment-provider fees, if any, are nonrefundable. If NY Mahjong cancels the event, participants may choose a full refund or a credit toward a future event.
Photography
NY Mahjong events may be photographed for the public website, photo albums, newsletters, and official social-media accounts. Participants may select “Please do not photograph me” during registration and may also notify Theresa at the event. NY Mahjong will make reasonable efforts to honor opt-out requests. Participants may contact NY Mahjong to request review or removal of a published image.
